Birgit Rameseder

Birgit is a strategic professional with experience in roles spanning across mineral resource management (MRM), project management and techno-economic analysis. She has worked 12 years in the Canadian North on exploration projects (green and brownfields) and at mining operations; thereafter she spent 7 years in southern Africa. Recently she founded Rock Solid Solutions and has been working as Associate with Satarla Ltd in Risk Management and Assurance and with O Trade. 

Birgit possesses advanced process mapping and optimization skills in addition to a natural flair for strategic and operational business management. She has a consistently proven ability to add exceptional value within roles requiring strong technical competency, business skills, critical thinking, teamwork and organisational skills. 

She was recognised as one of 100 Inspirational Women in Mining – 2015 (Women in Mining UK; global nominations). She volunteered with International Women in Mining (IWIM) as southern African liaison / coordinator. She has lived and worked in locations such as Germany, France, Canada, South Africa, and Zambia. 

She holds a French Master’s Degree in Geology from the University of Caen, France, a master’s degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Quebec in Montreal, Canada, a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. She is a registered P.Geo. with PGO (Professional Geoscientists Ontario) and a registered natural scientist under SACNASP (South Africa Natural Science Practitioners).
