Organization Announcement – Building Team Capacity

O Trade is very excited to welcome Birgit Rameseder, founder of Rock Solid Solutions, to the organization. In her new role as VP Strategic Integration, she will focus on the planning, reporting, and strategic staffing dimensions of client relations.

Birgit Rameseder is joining our team as our new VP Strategic Integration. With significant experience in mining and the social dynamics of project planning and execution, she is a perfect fit for her new role, in which she will focus on the planning, reporting, and strategic staffing dimensions of client relations. O Trade is committed to increasing capacity in order to grow our impact and ability to create value. In doing so, we are positioning O Trade for growth, building on our core team’s expertise. To that end, we are all confident that Birgit will be a huge asset going forward, bringing as she does relevant expertise to the table and perfectly complementing existing layers of expertise present in the team.

Birgit, a strategic professional, is experienced in roles spanning mineral resource management (MRM), project management, and techno-economic analysis. She has worked 12 years in northern Canada on exploration projects (green and brownfields) and mining operations; thereafter she spent 7 years in Southern Africa. She founded Rock Solid Solutions and has been working as an Associate with Satarla; in Risk Management and Assurance and with O Trade.

Birgit possesses advanced process mapping and optimization skills and a flair for strategic and operational business management. She has a proven ability to add exceptional value within roles requiring strong technical competency, business skills, critical thinking, teamwork, and organisational skills.

She was recognised as one of 100 Inspirational Women in Mining – 2015 (Women in Mining UK; global nominations). She volunteered with International Women in Mining (IWIM) as southern African liaison/coordinator. She has lived and worked in Germany, France, Canada, South Africa, and Zambia.

She holds a French Master’s Degree in Geology from the University of Caen, France, a Master’s Degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Quebec in Montreal, Canada, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. She is a registered P.Geo. with PGO (Professional Geoscientists Ontario), and a registered natural scientist under SACNASP (South Africa Natural Science Practitioners).
